Shadrack Farms Sanctuary is for large farm animals who have become elderly and need a home where special care and treatment can be provided. The care team will be grateful to receive all support that will provide food, shelter, comfort, and medical care for large farm animals in need.
Who we are?
History and Values
Shadrack Farms Sanctuary for large farm animals is a rehab home for elderly large farm animals who have been accepted into the sanctuary and who otherwise were uncomfortable at their present homes. The founder and executive director is Sonya Sokolow, PhD, who has over 50 years of experience breeding, raising, and training Morgan horses and Miniature Zebu cattle. She is presently working with alpacas and goats.

You do not have to have an animal at our sanctuary to donate to our non-profit organization, you can always donate to help with costs of equipment, food, shelter and medical care for our animals.
